Amazing Everest Base Camp Via Gokyo Trekking Cost $3749/per person for 18 Days.
The trekking goes on the same route up to Namche bazar and makes detour via Dole, Machhermo towards Gokyo where you can enjoy the serene beauty of lakes residing on the Himalayan lap. You will get to experience spectacular Himalayan views which you never get to experience on the regular base camp trekking trail. In addition to the views, you will achieve a high Himalayan pass called Cho La, which is 5420 meters in elevation, while walking towards Everest base camp from Gokyo. After you reach the base camp and Kalapatthar, the way back down is on the regular base camp trekking trail so you do not miss any view from that route too. From your participation in this trekking US$35-$55 per person will be donated to the National Education And Buddhist Teaching Primary School, that is currently 47 children of different ages in (NEABTP School) in Phulasi and Kathmandu. DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m):
You will be received by our representatives and will be transferred to hotel. After checking into rooms, relax and spend some leisurely time, stay Overnight in hotel Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour:
Half day Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour of three places: Kathmandu: Swoyambhu nath Stupa, Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and Buddhist pilgrims of Bouddhanath Stupa, Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu (1400m) – Lukla (2860m) – Phakding (3620m)
Take an early morning flight to Lukla, the gateway town to the Everest trek. Flying for about 45 minutes enjoying spectacularly beautiful view of the middle hills and mountains of Nepal, we land at the airstrip of Lukla. We, then, meet our complete trekking crew at Lukla and proceed on our trek for the day towards Phakding. After a four hours’ trek on a gradual downhill trail, we reach the small village of Phakding on the bank of beautiful Dudh Koshi River. Stay overnight at a teahouse.
Day 03: Phakding (3620m) – Namche (3440m)
Day 04: Acclimatization Day:
We spend an extra night here at Namche Bazar as part of the acclimatization to the high altitude climate. We will take a day hiking trip to one of the hiking destinations in the area. We come back to Namche bazar for the overnight stay.
Day 05: Namche (3440m) – Dole (3534m)
Day 06: Dole (4038m) – Machhermo (4470m)
Day 07: Machhermo (4470m) – Gokyo (4750m)
Day 08: Gokyo Exploration Day:
We take our day to explore the majestic beauty of Gokyo village and surrounding wonders. We take an early morning hike up to Gokyo Ri at the elevation of 5357 meters above sea level to enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu. We walk back down to Gokyo and make an afternoon walk to the Fifth Lake and later explore Nagjumba Glacier. After spending an incredible day in and around Gokyo, we spend overnight here at Gokyo itself.
Day 09: Gokyo (4750m) – Dragnag (4700m)
Day 10: Dragnag (4700m) – Cho La (5420m) – Dzonghla (4830m)
Day 11: Dzonghla (4830m) – Lobuche (4940m) Today we are going to meet the regular Everest base camp trekking trail when we reach Lobuche for our overnight stay. We are heading closer to the base camp of Everest as we walk further ahead towards Lobuche along the Khumbu valley. Once we reach Lobuche, we will meet trekkers making their way to the Everest base camp along the regular trekking trail to the base of the world’s highest mountain.
Day 12: Lobuche (4940m) – Gorakshep (5164m) – Everest Base Camp (5364m)
We walk to Gorakshep from Lobuche today. The trail traverses up and down on the mountains and glacial moraine. Once we reach Gorakshep, we take lunch at the tea house we are staying tonight and proceed towards Everest Base Camp in the afternoon. We walk to the epic base of the highest mountain in the world. We walk to the new base camp of the Everest which is different than the old one where Hillary and Tenzing had camped before starting on their adventure journey towards the summit of the highest peak in the world.
After spending some quality time at the base camp, from where we can inhale fresh air from stunning mountains of Pumori, Khumbutse and Nuptse, we start our way back to Gorakshep for the stay overnight.
Day 13: Gorakshep (5164m) – Kalapatthar (5550m) – Pheriche (4371m)
We go for an early morning hike up to the stunning view point of Kalapatthar at the elevation of 5545 meters above, which is also the highest elevation gain on this trek, for an excellent panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks right in front of us. Later we descend to Gorakshep and have our breakfast. We proceed on the trek for the day down to Pheriche to stay our overnight there.
Day 14: Pheriche (4371m) – Thyangboche (3,840m)
Day 15: Thyangboche (3,840m) Namche (3440m)
Day 16: Namche (3440m) Phakding (2620m) or Lukla (2860m)
Today we map the Everest trail all the way back down to Lukla. We take the same trail we took to go up and come across several suspension bridges and walk past several local villages. Dudh Koshi River flow adds more beauty on the trail and makes the walk more enjoyable. And we eventually reach the town of Lukla where our trek to the Everest Base Camp comes to end.
We bid farewell to our supporting crew members expressing our thankfulness for everything they did to take us to the base camp of the world’s highest peak and bring us back safely. We stay overnight at Lukla today waiting for the flight back to Kathmandu tomorrow.
Day 17: Fly from Lukla Airport to Kathmandu:
This morning we will be transferred to Lukla Airport for our morning flight back to Kathmandu. During flight to Kathmandu we can see the close up views of the Himalayas ranges. We land in Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 18: Final Departure on wards destination:

Today you will transfer to the international airport for your final departure.
