Volunteer Annapurna Trekking One of the most popular trekking trails is known as Annapurna base camp trekking which lies to the Northwest of pokhara at Annapurna region. Annapurna base camp trek is known as a nearest trekking area from Pokhara valley, lies at the height of 4130m. Above the sea level. After about 43 kms drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, We start to trekking from Nayapul  Birethanti. Annapurna Base Camp trekking trail starts from lowland villages and rice terraces at the bank of the Modi River. Annapurna trekking trail keeps changing the settings as you gradually climb uphill, it transforms its natural landscapes from the river bank to the thick oak forests, rhododendron forests and from lush green grazing lands to the paddy field. In the spring time, the trail is colorful rhododendron blossoming along the trek. That is not enough, this Annapurna region is shelter to 100 species of mammals, 60 reptiles and amphibians and more than 450 species of different birds. On the trail of Annapurna Base Camp Trekking, we pass different ethnic magar and gurung village. Walking through the village, you see their unique cultures and lifestyles. Annapurna region consists of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Kali Gandaki River and several Annapurna climbing peaks. The most prominent ethnic groups of people are Gurung, Thakali and Managis. Animals are found here, blue sheep and Himalayan Thar and vegetation ranges from tropical species to temperate forest of oak, beech and rhododendron. Mustang or Lo Manthang, the desert plateau located in the upper valley of the river Kali Gandaki, and to the north of the main Himalayan range also falls in Annapurna region. The popular trekking routes are Jomsom Muktinath trek, Annapurna Circuit trek and Annapurna Base Camp trek, Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, Dhaulagiri, Upper Mustang trek. The best time to visit this region for trekking and mountaineering is during spring and autumn. Possible to do short trekking in winter and summer.

From your participation in this trek US$50-$60 per person will be donated to the National Education and Buddhist Teaching Primary School and Shree Kalide Higher Secondary School that is currently 4 hundred children both school and of different ages in Phulasi and Kathmandu. Option one: Proposed Itinerary Details
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m): You will be received by our representatives and will be transferred to hotel. After checking into rooms, stay Overnight in hotel Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour: Half day Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour of three places: Kathmandu: Swoyambu nath Stupa, Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and Buddhist pilgrims of Bouddhanath Stupa, Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m). Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, it takes 7 hrs. By Tourist Bus.
Day 04: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri: One hrs. Drive to Nayapul (1050m) by private Car/ Van, Then Trekking to Tikhedhunga. It takes 3 hrs. First day, we do not need to walk uphill so long.
Day 05: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675m)
Day 06: Hiking to Poonhill (3120m).Back to Ghorepani, and Trek to Tadapani (2675m):
Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m):
Day 08: Ghandruk to Pokhara: Trek down to Nayapul and Drive back to Pokhara by private car.
Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus.
Day 10: Final Departure onwards destination: Today you will transfer to the international airport for your final departure.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Besishahar (790m).5 hrs. Scenic drive to Besishahar by car or bus Overnight at Guest House.
Day 04: Besishahar to Bahundanda (1310m).
Day 05: Bahundanda to Chyamje (1400m).
Day 06: Chyamje to Bagarchhap (2160m).
Day 07: Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m).
Day 08: Chame to Pisang (3300m).
Day 09: Pisang to Manang Valley (3500m).
Day 10: Acclimatization day at Manang Valley: Today we spend a day acclimatizing in Manang. The whole day we spend by doing some fine day walks and over viewing the magnificent views around the village & the day time is best to gain altitude. At the end of the day, we return back to our accommodation & have a night rest. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 11: Manang to Ledar (4250m).
Day 12: Ledar to Phedi or High camp (4600m).
Day 13: Phedi or High Camp to Muktinath (3710m).
Day 14: Muktinath to Marpha (2600m). This place is also nice settlements of more than 100 houses of Thakali people. It has also 2 monasteries, and one apple brandy factory. If you are interested to see how apple brandies are produced, you will be taken there.
Day 15: Marpha to Ghasa (2100m).
Day 16: Ghasa to Tatopani (1200m).
Day 17: Tatopani to Ghorepani(2800m).
Day 18: Ghorepani to Tikhedhunga.
Day 19: Tikhedhunga to Pokhara.
Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu. Drive back to Kathmandu by Private Car / Van – about 5 hours scenic drive. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 21: Final Departure from Kathmandu.
