expedition. Everest Region offers varieties of trekking trail on the foothill
of Mt Everest like Everest Base Camp Trek, Kala Patthar Trek, Gokyo-Ri

The primary goal of trekking in Everest region is stepping
at least the Everest Base Camp (5340m). We also have the opportunity to ascend
Kala Pattar [5554m] from where we can get some awesome spectacular views of Mt.
Everest and Himalayan giants which literally number your senses with breathless
admiration that beholds the eye; and makes up for the lung-bursting climb that
took you up thereof finally making our way back down to Lukla. Not only Everest
but also other mountain peaks such as Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Pumori,
Thamserku, Kantega, Kwangde and others can be seen from Kalaphar.
Everest Base Camp

in Nepal. Trekking starts from Lukla, ends to Lukla and needs for two weeks
walking. First day to walk down Phakding and follows along the Dudh Kosi River which
climbs up to the Sherpa village of Namche bazaar. Namche is an ancient unique
settlement of Sherpa house with a bustling bazaar, the main gate for trekkers
and Everest national Park headquarters.
Along the Everest base camp trekking trail, highest monastery
at Tengboche is main the attraction. Monks are always welcomed with smile face.
Sound of Monks prayers and chanting attract all tourists to stop for a while.
The monastery is structurally located on a top ridge with commanding views of
the Everest landscape. Chance to see a wildlife animal’s musk deer, thar and
Nepal’s national birds-pheasant. Villages surrounded by firs and rhododendrons
are interspersed with magnificent forests of rhododendron, magnolia and giant
firs. Continue walk up to a village of Pangboche and Pheriche and to see
spectacular views of the AmaDablam, Tawache and other peaks and then finally to
highest camp at Gorak Shep.It is the matter of fact that Mt. Everest cannot be
observed from the base camp.So,most of the trekkers climb Kala Patthar (5545m)
which is situated on the southern flank of Pumori (7145m). The homeland of
Sherpa’s lifestyles with rich Sherpa Culture, Yeti head (scull)at Khumjung old
monastery, Tengboche Monastery and Khumjung Sherpa Villages.
The Everest B/C Volunteer Charity trek is a classic trek
which follows in the footsteps of Hillary and Tenzing ends with an ascent of
KalaPattar for superb views of Everest. This trek starts with an exhilarating
45 minute mountain flight into the airstrip at Lukla. From here we trek slowly
upwards to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar, following the valley of the
DudhKosi River. It is not long before we glimpse our first view of Everest as
it peeks above the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. At this point it is still many days
walk away, but with careful acclimatization it is not long before we find
ourselves high up in the heart of the Khumbu region.
Discover Indigenous Sherpa culture, spectacular landscape,
amazing Himalayan peaks and come up close and personal with Mount Everest, the
highest mountain in the world. The trek to Everest Base Camp is without doubt
one of the most famous in the world which takes you into the heart of the

How does this charity help?
Vision Nepal is a non-profit organization, which offers
homely love and education to destitute Children. From your participation in
this trek US$50-$60 per person will be donated to the National Education and
Buddhist Teaching Primary School and Shree Kalide Higher Secondary School that
is currently 4 hundred children both school and of different ages in Phulasi
and Kathmandu. Your support and contribution will provide a sustainable
solution to provide basic needs to the children and expand its educational and

Charity Treks:
Everest B/C Volunteer Trekking for a CAUSE! Raise funds for
“Nepali Children’s” A Help for children in need. As you may know Vision Nepal
has planned to construct a home by 2018 to accommodate children. The project
will cost Vision Nepal $505,880 (Rs.34, 906,385)
Vision Nepal has been organizing Base Camp (EBC/ABC) Charity
Treks in an ongoing basis. We organize group or individual trekking to Everest/Annapurna
Base Camp 4th and 18th of each month. Our aims to raise at least $45,000 from
these treks for our Nepalese Children’s. The Programs will commence as soon as
we have $110,000 raised.

The trek up to the base of the highest mountain on Earth, and the even higher
climb to the peak of Kalapattar (Everest) for the best view of the Himalayan

Vision Nepal Volunteers is seeking participants for the
inaugural Everest Base Camp Fundraising Trek. People who wish to experience
this breath taking 10/21 days trek, with the added objective of raising money
for Vision Nepal’s children’s Programs project.With every meter you climb, and every sky-touching mountain
you pass, you will be raising crucial funds that allow Vision Nepal to empower
marginalized communities, through various ongoing education, construction and
awareness programs. Vision Nepal is inviting individuals and/or small groups
(7-10 people) to accept the challenge of raising $5000 US per group.
Participants, either as a group or individually, could raise money in various
ways: You will be climbing 2564 meters from the Lukla airport to
(EBC). Kathmandu altitude 1355 meter (4504ft) the altitude of the Lukla airport
is 2800 Meter (9100 feet) and South Base Camp of Everest is at an altitude of
5364 meters (17598ft). Collecting outright donations from various sponsors,
with the group goal of raising $5000 US in total per group.
Raising donations based on the days spent trekking (e.g. $5
for each day $70), or based on distance traveled (e.g. a donation amount for
every meter of elevation reach, or travel). This means, if you ask for $1
donation for every 5 meters climbing, you will raise $513 and if you ask for $1
donation for every meter climbing you will raise $2564. Alternative Cause -Collecting donations to reach a
particular monetary goal that would
Vision Nepal to make specific purchases, or complete a specific project
(e.g. $15,000 would allow Vision Nepal to build a complete community toilet,
improving sanitation and health awareness, and $300 could fund a month of the
community vegetable growing program.
Detail Itinerary
Everest B/C Volunteer Charity Trekking:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m): You will be received
by our representatives and will be transferred to hotel. After checking into
our rooms, stay Overnight in hotel Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour: Half day
Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour of three places: Kathmandu: Swoyambu nath
Stupa, Pashupatinath and Buddhist pilgrims of Bouddhanath Stupa, Overnight at
hotel.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and around 3 hrs. walk
to Phakding: Transfer to airport for the mountain flight to Lukla. We will fly
to Tenzing and Hillary Airport in Lukla (2804 meters) from Kathmandu, trek to
Phakding (2610 meters) on the Dudh Kosi River. Lukla, the trail descends 1450
feet down to the Dudh Kosi River for further trek to Phakding village.
Overnight at tea house.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
3460 mtrs, We enter the park at Jorsalle, cross the Bhote Kosi river and then
climb steeply to Namche Bazaar. Namche is the main trading center for the
Khumbu. Continue along the trail and begin the steep climbing up the “Namche
Hill” to the Sherpa market town of Namche Bazaar. As we climb the steep
hillside, we catch our first glimpse of Everest and the snowcapped panorama of
Himalayan giants to come.
Day 05: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization: We
take a rest day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. There are a number of
local excursions that we might enjoy. We can day hike up above Namche to the
Sagarmatha National Park Visitor’s Center and Museum, where there are terrific
views of Mt. Everest region and numerous educational displays on the culture,
geography, geology, climatology, and wildlife within the park and the Khumbu.
It is also possible to make a 2-2½ hrs. Day hike up to Syangboche and in the
world highest point Everest View Hotel.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (Monastery):
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche:
Day 08: Rest day in Dingboche for acclimatization: Today is
rest day in and around Dingboche. A peaceful day of acclimatization, reading
and relaxing in the warmth of the midday sun, replaced in the afternoon by the
comfort of the Lodge lounge and its wood/yak dung -burning stove and overnight
tea house.
Day 09: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m):
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep and Everest Base Camp: We will
get our breakfast and then start our trek further to Kalapathar. This trek is
one of the very strenuous yet rewarding days of the trek. Most of this day, we
spend climbing mount kalapattar, a small peak of 5,555 meters. The ascent is
demanding but the climbers get the most magnificent mountain panorama of Mount
Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Lhotse and others. Overnight at tea house.
Day 11: Gorak Shep to back Pheriche:
Day 12: Pheriche to Tengboche or Namche Bazaar:
Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla: A reasonably long day as we
head back to our start point in the Everest Valley. We relax in the extremely
comfortable tea house.
Day 14: Fly from Lukla Airport to Kathmandu: This morning we
will be transferred to Lukla Airport for our morning flight back to Kathmandu.
During flight to Kathmandu we can see the close up views of the Himalayas
ranges. We land in Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 15: Final Departure to onwards destination.

which we provide you. Everest base camp trekking can be modified according to
your time and requirements.
